April

This was a pretty busy week for me. I had a lot going on. There were a few people out of the office this week on vacation and I had to help pick up the extra load. I do not mind though, because I am leaving on Thursday for a long weekend in Cancun. I don't think this week can go by quick enough. 

Me and a buddy from work have been going to Plucker's on Wednesdays for this Trivia Challenge. It's pretty cool, unlike the trivia handheld games you play in other sports bars. The whole place is involved in this one. It's crazy. There are around 30 or so teams and you write down your answers. The top three winners get gift cards (each at different values depending on winning order). We have went the last two weeks and our team won both times. Oh how the nerd in me thrives! 

Yesterday a bunch of us went to Brittany and Ryan's house for a bar-b-que and it dawned on me how old we are all getting. Several of the couples there were married and one was pregnant. I walked up on a conversation with a group of wives talking about their interest rates on their mortgage. That is when it all hit me. I am 25 years old. That is mid-twenties. In a couple of years I will be in my "late-twenties" ... that scares the crap out of me. I've decided I am going to hang on as long as I can. 

April is going to be a pretty busy month. Like I said I leave for Mexico on Thursday, and the following weekend I am going to College Station with a bunch of friends for this Crawl Fish Boil and the Aggies Spring Game. We went last year and it was my first time to go to CS. It reminds me so much of Lubbock. I need some time away from Dallas for a little while.
